How this check works
We find the registrable parent and select its HTTPS RDAP service from IANA’s bootstrap data. The report shows published registration information and the source that returned it. Missing or inconsistent dates should be checked in your registrar account, not treated as a renewal instruction.
Registry dates need context
A registry expiration date can differ from your registrar's billing deadline. Renewal, grace periods and registry policies affect what is displayed. Your registrar account is the source for payment and renewal instructions.
Some information is not public
Registries vary in the fields they publish. Redaction, rate limits or an unavailable RDAP service can leave a field unknown. We do not substitute an invented expiration date or scrape legacy WHOIS.
Common questions
Can I check a subdomain's expiration?
Subdomains are not separately registered. We look up the registrable parent and show the domain that was queried.
Will this tool renew my domain?
No. It only reads public records. Renew through the registrar shown in your account.
